Liza Soberano talked about her viral vlog about her “rebranding”
Actress Liza Soberano reiterated that she is grateful for everything amid the accusations that she is ungrateful to her former talent manager Ogie Diaz and her former home network ABS-CBN.
Liza goes viral these past few days because of her This Is Me vlog in which she talked about her decision to redirect her career. She stressed that for 13 years, she has no power in choosing things about her career in showbiz.
“During all those years, I was never really asked for my input, my thoughts, my ideas,” she said in her vlog. Because of this, people accused her of being ungrateful for the things that were done for her by her former management.
In an interview with PEP, Liza Soberano corrected people’s perception of her recent vlog. “I just want to reiterate that I’m so grateful for everything that I’ve achieved, and experienced,” the actress clarified.
She is also acknowledging everything that was done for her by her former management and the people she worked with. “And I acknowledge that I wouldn’t be anywhere near where I am today without everybody who is part of my journey since the beginning of my career,” the actress stressed.
Liza also said that she would not have the talent, the name, and everything that she has if not because of the people who journeyed with her since the start of her career.
When it comes to her rebranding, she knows that a lot of people got shocked but a lot of people also knew that this was coming when she changed her management. She pointed out that people got surprised when she finally speak what she envisioned herself to be.
