Janella Salvador channeled the feistiness of her character, Valentina, in a recent sultry photo shoot for a magazine cover. The Kapamilya star wore various Valentina-inspired outfits for her Metro Magazine shoot with photographer Seven Barretto, as seen on Seven’s IG page yesterday, August. 31.
The 24-year-old actress wore a black cut-out catsuit with crystal embellishments that appeared to be scales, a black high-slit sequined dress, a black breast plate and sheer skirt combination, a leather-studded top, and a black tulle skirt. She then finished the ensemble with snake-inspired gold jewelry and nail art.
“[Janella Salvador], who’s long been a darling of Philippine showbiz, is portraying the role of a villain for the first time in her decade-long career. As this generation’s #Valentina, she says she’s inspired to tell the story of a ‘kontrabida (villain) with a heart,’” Seven said.
For her part, Janella showed similar pics from the photoshoot on her own IG page, also yesterday. It came with a caption, “Serving you big big trouble with [Metro Magazine]”
