CELESTE CORTESI – Azkals’ striker Mathew Custodio took to social media to pen a heartfelt post about Celeste Cortesi’s Miss Universe Philippines 2022 win.
Fil-Italian model and beauty queen Silvia Celeste Rabimbi Cortesi first made her presence known in the local pageant scene through the Miss Earth PH 2018 competition. She became even more well-known after she bested 31 other candidates at the Miss Universe PH 2022.
The 24-year-old stunner took home the La Mer en Majeste crown that’s worth almost P6 million. Her experience shone in the pageant’s preliminary activities: topped the casting video challenge and placed as runner up in the swimsuit and headshot challenge.
Celeste Cortesi is in a happy relationship with Mathew Custodio. On FB, Matthew has been very supportive of Celeste’s MUPH run, sharing photos of her winning challenges and posting sweet captions.
Mathew is a Fil-British football player for the Philippine Azkals. Prior to playing for the national team, the 24-year-old athlete used to be part of the De La Salle Football team. Amid news about her victory at the MUPH 2022, Celeste’s sweet photos with Mathew went viral on all social media platforms.
