Female Customer Pretends to Be Mentally Incapacitated Person to Avoid Paying for Food
A female customer went viral after she was allegedly seen pretending to be mentally unstable to avoid paying for the food she ate at a canteen.
Recently, the Facebook page “Ekomoto” shared photos of the woman, claiming that she acted mentally unstable to escape paying her bill. The post quickly spread on social media and drew various reactions from netizens online.
According to the canteen owner, the woman arrived at their establishment along E. Road and ordered several food items. She reportedly enjoyed her meal and stayed until she had finished eating.
However, when it was time to settle the bill, she allegedly began acting strangely and pretended to be mentally unstable.
The canteen staff claimed that the woman’s behavior appeared to be an attempt to avoid paying for the food she had consumed. Because of the unexpected situation, they were left unable to collect payment for the meal.
The business owner expressed disappointment over the incident, saying that small food establishments work hard to earn a living and cannot afford to give away meals to people who deliberately take advantage of them.
The owner also explained that they regularly help people who are truly in need and sometimes provide food to those who honestly ask for assistance. However, they said it is different when someone allegedly uses deception to avoid paying for products and services.
The canteen owner has also warned fellow entrepreneurs to remain vigilant and be aware of individuals who may use similar tactics to avoid paying for what they order.
