Hakot Queen! Michelle Dee bags six special awards during MUPH 2022 preliminaries.
MUPH 2022 – Actress and pageant veteran, Michelle Dee takes home several awards from the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 preliminary competition.
Last April 27, the preliminary competition of this year’s Miss Universe pageant was held which is also the first live presentation of the Top 32 candidates. And it resulted in actress and pageant veteran Michelle Dee bagging, not just one and not just two special awards but six!
She turned out as the sponsors’ favorite. She bagged the following special awards:
- Miss Kumuniverse
- Miss Creamsilk
- Face of Essentials Belo
- Miss Jojo Bragais
- Miss Savepoint
- Miss The Medical City
Pauline Amelinckx of Bohol, Katrina Llegado of Taguig, and Celeste Cortesi of Pasay were also awardees bagging two awards for each of them.

The preliminary competition was held at Okada Manila. Dee was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 and in this year’s Miss Universe pageant, she’s one of the strongest candidates. She is the daughter of Miss International 1979, Melanie Marquez.
The coronation night will be held Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena. Three Miss Universe titlists will be the hosts: Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow.
