Riding-in-Tandem Caught on Camera While Snatching Young Lady’s Cellphone While Making TikTok Video
A riding-in-tandem has been caught on camera while snatching a young lady’s mobile phone while making TikTok video.
Earlier this week, a group of teenagers were playing and making a TikTok video outside their home when two suspects riding a motorcycle suddenly arrived. One of the suspects took the young lady’s mobile phone.
The CCTV footage at a house along barangay 172 in Caloocan City caught the riding-in-tandem snatching the mobile phone of a teenager group. The suspects stole another mobile phone from other victim.
The young victims got shocked and traumatized due to the incident. The victims are currently struggling because they were using their mobile phones for online class and their educational files were saved on the stolen gadgets.
“Na-trauma po ako hinawakan po ako dito tapos dahan-dahang kinuha po yung cellphone ko tapos nung nakuha na po tumakbo ako,” the lady victim said.
The victim’s grandma named Salome Juliales also expressed her disappointment to the incident. She even joked that the snatcher should submit her granddaughter’s learning module to its teacher.
“Tapos kapag nakakita siya ng nakamotor parang medyo takot, tapos ang iniiyakan niya yung mga iningatan naming na mga answers sa module nandoon hindi pa na-foforward sa teacher, kaya sabi ko kung mag-message ako sana yung nagkuha ng cellphone sa sagutan niya na lang yung modules at isend sa teacher,” Juliales said.
The authorities advised the public to be more vigilant and aware of their surroundings when using mobile phones in public places.
