Angel Locsin & Neil Arce Went on a Double Date W/ Hidilyn Diaz & fiance Julius Naranjo
ANGEL LOCSIN – Celebrity couple Angel Locsin and husband Neil Arce went on a double date with Filipina Olympic heroine Hidilyn Diaz and fiance Julius Naranjo.
Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz is the first Filipino to bring home the Olympic gold medal. She and her longtime beau and strength coach Julius Naranjo recently spread “kilig” vibes after they announced that they are engaged.
The 30-year-old Zamboanga native said the Guamanian weightlifter caught her by surprise as she thought they went to Sheraton Manila to go on a triple date with celebs Iza Calzado and Precious Lara Quigaman. Julius popped the question to the athlete with a custom-made engagement ring.
Hidilyn Diaz’s engagement ring features a barbell with a diamond on top. Based on a report from Manila Bulletin, it cost half a million pesos.
In a previous article, the Pinay champ shared in an interview her wedding plans and her dream wedding honeymoon destination with Julius. She said, “we’re planning a simple private wedding in Mount Costa in Baguio. The place doesn’t really matter as long as God is there are our loved ones.”

Hidilyn Diaz and her fiance recently had a fun guesting on Angel Locsin and Neil’s Youtube channel. At the beginning of the vlog, the celebrity couple announced that they are going to have a double date with Julius and Hidilyn. She said, “Excited kami! Mayroon kaming double date ngayon!”
In the vlog, the champ and her fiancé talk about their lives and their journeys as a couple. They also gamely danced together with Neil and Angel.
The prominent actress invited dance choreographer Louie Basa Tan to teach them some dance steps. She asked the couple, “When was the last time you guys danced together as a couple?”
Julius said, “We don’t really dance.”
“When we met, ‘di ba?” Diaz then responded.
“Do you remember the music?” Locsin asked.
“Turkmen music, year, because that’s an interesting country, by the way,” Julius said.
