Hidilyn Diaz Shows Off Close Up Photo Of Weightlifting-Inspired Engagement Ring

Filipina Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz continues to soar cloud nine after her win at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics last July. She raked millions after her gold-medal win. She received millions from the government and private companies.
The Zamboanga native topped it off with an engagement to her strength and conditioning coach, Julius Naranjo. Hidilyn and Julius have been in a relationship for over three years now. Days after her historic win, she said she’s ready to get married if the 30-year-old former weightlifter for Guam proposes to her. And the Pinay sports icon gladly accepted.
Hidilyn Diaz met Julius Naranjo in a sporting event abroad. “Tapos ayun, nagkagustuhan. After a year, he decided to come here (in the Philippines),” she said.
On October 16, the couple announced their engagement on social media. Julius proposed to her while having dinner with their close friends at Sheraton Hotel in Pasay City.

In an IG post, Hidily Diaz said, “I’m grateful to God that He sent Julius into my life, he makes my life easy. Alam ng iba kung ano mga sinasakripisyo niya para maabot namin ang pangarap na ginto sa Olympics together with Team HD.” The post was accompanied by a photo flaunting her gold medal and weightlifting-inspired engagement ring.
Julius Naranjo, on the other hand, also posted a similar photo. It came with a caption, “There’s a first for everything.”
Hidilyn Diaz showed off a close-up photo of her weightlifting-inspired engagement ring on her IG stories. She also tagged the jewelry company, Manila Diamond Studio.
