Lone Suspect Disarms 2 Guards & Successfully Stole P600k From Bank
A lone suspect successfully stole over P600, 000 from a branch of popular bank with two security guards in Paco, Manila.
Earlier this week, a lone hold-upper attacked a branch of China Bank in Paco, Manila after disarming the two security guards monitoring the establishment. He arrived using a motorcycle and performed his illegal activity.
The CCTV footage caught the arrival and departure of the suspect. The robber was armed with a pistol while the guards have a shotgun and pistol. The camera also capture the scene while the robber is escaping using his motorcycle.
Manila Police District director Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco said that it was his first time to encounter such incident wherein a lone robber with no colleagues holdup a bank. He was also puzzled on how the lone culprit managed to disarm the two guards.
“Simula noong ako ay maging pulis hanggang ngayon, talagang ito ‘yung first time nana-experience ko na isang holdaper pumasok sa isang bangko… very unusual,” Francisco said.
MPD also reported that the two guard were inside the ban during the incident, which is far from the bank’s security arrangement. The management usually places one guard inside the establishment and one outside.
The police authorities would investigate the two guards and would look at the possibility of inside job.
“Kasama na sila sa person of interest kasi mga inconsistent mga sinasabi nila. Tinitignan namin mga lapses nila at ah, ito rin namang anggulo na tinitignan natin ‘yung inside job,” Francisco added.
