Sari-Sari Store & Linen Shop in Las Piñas City Victimized by Robbery
A sari-sari store and a linen shop in Brgy. Pulanglupa Dos in Las Piñas City have been victimized by robbery incident last week.
The two store owners have expressed their disappointment after discovering that their shops have been robbed. The stores were located at nearby streets in Naga Road. The owners discovered the incident on the next morning.
Two suspects entered the sari-sari store at St. Joseph Street twice within three hours last weekend. The thieves lift the rollup door and break into the vicinity and started to perform their illegal activity.
Then thieves took P2, 000 cash, cellphone, cigarettes, soaps and other grocery items. After an hour, the suspects returned and took the cash at the cashier’s vault. The store lost a total amount of P30, 000.
The two culprits riding a motorcycle also returned at CAA area in the nearby barangay. The owner Rosaline Punayo revealed that it was their first time to experience such crime.
The linen shop owned by Byron and Samer Lizardo lost two laptops and boom box speaker to the thieves. The suspects entered the shop around 3:00 am after breaking into the office and took the gadgets worth P120, 000.
The couple decided to upgrade the lock and security system of their shop.
Meanwhile, the barangay continue to roam around the village and monitor the area although they have limited numbers of watchmen during this COVID-19 pandemic. Two bicycles have been stolen in the area last week.
The robbery incident in the area have already reported to the police authorities.
