Angeline Quinto Grateful To ABS-CBN, Shares Why She’s Staying

Numerous artists have already left but Angeline Quinto has this reason as to why she’s staying.

ANGELINE QUINTO – Kapamilya “Birit Queen” Angeline Quinto reveals her reason why she is staying with the ABS-CBN despite the lack of a franchise.

Since the shut down of the ABS-CBN network, several talents from the Kapamilya network have transferred which included its A-listers. Some of them went to  TV5, while others, transferred to GMA Network. The stars who transferred were Beauty Gonzalez, actor John Lloyd Cruz, comedienne Pokwang, Bea Alonzo, Richard Yap, Maja Salvador, and many others.

However, there were also those who stayed and such is the singer and dubbed as country’s “Birit Queen“, Angeline Quinto. Out of gratitude and loyalty, the singer chose to stay because the network stood with her when she was just starting out in the industry. The female performer also expressed that it was the network that gave her the opportunities that made her able to make her dreams and her Mama Bob’s dreams come true.

“Siyempre kahit sabihin natin na walang prangkisa ang ABS CBN ngayon, ito kasi ang tahanan na hindi tumalikod sa akin nung nag-uumpisa ako,” she said. Angeline added that without the ABS-CBN, she won’t be able to help her family, perform for other people, and go to other countries to do some shows. And also, without the trust of the network to let her do projects, she won’t be having her dream house.

She expressed as per PEP, “Napakaraming pangarap ko na natupad, may mga pangarap ako na di ko talaga maisip na magagawa ko pala talaga sa tulong ng ABS-CBN.”

To recall, Angeline is the winner of the reality singing competition Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar, and since her victory, she became a regular performer of ASAP. It has been 10 years already since that day and she’s been a Kapamilya for a decade now.
