Why Arci Muñoz, JM de Guzman Didn’t Thought of Taking their Friendship to the Next Level

In the Philippine showbiz industry, there are a lot of celebrities who have known each other for several years now and have built wonderful relationships. Some are friends and best of friends while others have taken it to a different level.
Among those who are close to each other not only on-screen but most especially behind the camera are Kapamilya stars Arci Muñoz and JM de Guzman. They have worked together in the movie “Last Fool Show”.
Undeniably, many of the fans and supporters of JM and Arci love seeing them together. Many are also curious about why their friendship did not lead to a romantic relationship.

Speaking to Toni Gonzaga for I Feel U, Arci Muñoz revealed why she and JM de Guzman did not become a couple. According to the actress, the actor is her “best friend” and it would be hard to take it to a different direction.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Arci said that it is hard to bring back their friendship to the way it is now if something happens. She revealed that she is so comfortable with JM and he’s someone he would ran to aside from her family when she’s having a hard time.
Arci Muñoz and JM de Guzman have known each other since they were in college. Both students of the University of the Philippines, he was her crush and she initially thought he was gay and she wanted a gay best friend.
“Nung nasa college kami. Alam naman po niya ‘yun tapos feel na feel niya. Umaligid-aligid lang ako noon,” the actress said based on the report.
Also, according to Arci, she was not allowed to get into a romantic relationship then. Her father was strict and she was really dropped and fetched from school.
On the part of JM, he likes how frank Arci is to him. According to him, she really knows him and he can even sense when he is not in the mood even though they are not together. He stressed that she’s always there to lead him back to being optimistic.
