Biker Group Offers Reflective Sash for Free to Help Cyclist Ride Safe
Biker United Marshalls, a bike enthusiast group offers free reflective sash to bikers to help them noticeable while traveling on the road.
The bike enthusiast group has been helping bikers since the ease of community quarantine in Metro Manila and residents have decided to shift to bicycles as transportation are limited and kind of risky amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-18) crisis.
Meanwhile, in Biker United Marshalls offers free reflective sash to cyclists riding along Visayas Avenue. This aims to help more bike commuters to be safer on their trip, based on the report of GMA Public Affairs twitter.
Previously, MMDA has remove the makeshift bike lane barriers placed by the group of enthusiasts along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has removed the plastic bottle barrier as it can cause danger on the road.
MMDA give an obstruction citation ticket to the members of biker group. The biker group clarified that the makeshift barriers aims put temporary bike line on the road and to help cyclers to be safe while riding a bicycle on the highway.
