Disappointed Cyclist Asks Motorist to Respect Bike Lanes Since Many People Are Now Using Bike For Transportation
A disappointed cyclist is urging the vehicle driver to respect bike lane because there are lots of new cyclists along the road.
Nowadays, a lot of Filipino people are struggling with their daily transport due to the lack of public utility vehicles caused by the community quarantine guidelines with the aim to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease.
Some of our countrymen find an alternative method of transportation to reach their destinations. Bike becomes one of the most common transportation vehicles amid the health crisis.
A Facebook user named Juveryn Atilano has shared the photo of a white van occupying the 1-meter bike lane allocated for cyclists. He urged the drivers and motorists to respect bike lanes. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photo, it can be seen that the white van occupied the bike lane leaving no space for the cyclists. Atilano expressed his disappointment realizing that a lot of motorists do respect bike lanes.
