Here is the situation of the residents almost a week after the government downgrades the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.
Last week, the Philippine government has decided to downgrade the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon and other countries to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), general community quarantine (GCQ), and modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
The government eased the community quarantine measures in many parts of the country and allow the people to go back to their jobs and livelihoods. It also allows several business establishments to open again but with several conditions.
However, a lot of people have been reported violating the quarantine guidelines including the social distancing measures after downgrading ECQ. Residents flocked malls and other establishments.
Recently, the Facebook page “Viral Videos” has shared the disturbing photos of a massive number of residents gathering in front of several business establishments. The photos are now circulating online.
In the photos, it can be seen that a huge amount of people is gathered due to their personal transactions in the area. Unfortunately, the people defied the physical distancing rules.
