Update on the Total Coronavirus Cases in the World Now Amid Global Pandemic

TOTAL CORONAVIRUS CASES IN THE WORLD – The total cases of COVID-19 in the different countries exceeds 3.5 million now.

The world now is faced with a huge challenge – the health crisis caused by coronavirus or COVID-19. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is going to be a long-term battle.

More than 200 countries across the globe got cases of coronavirus. This disease was first recorded in China last December 2019.

The rest of the world were just watching reports about the “mysterious” disease in China that bears flu-like symptoms. A patient may experience fever, breathing difficulties, and cough among others.

The World Health named the coronavirus as COVID-19. Later on, it was discovered that a person can be asymptomatic but positive for COVID-19.

The disease has spread across the globe. Although there are countries and territories that have not reported COVID-19 cases, most of them are surrounded by areas with confirmed cases of the disease.

Based on the global tally of Worldometer, the total coronavirus cases in the world now is 3,559,378. The death toll is 247,981 while 1,152,735 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease.

Out of the over 3.5 million total coronavirus cases in the world, more than 1.1 million of it were recorded in the United States which has the most cases of the disease now. It is followed by Spain with 247,000 cases and Italy with 210,717 cases.
