Italy death toll as per latest report: 475.
ITALY DEATH TOLL – On Wednesday, Italy has reported 475 new deaths in their country related to the pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The total deaths recorded in Italy related to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is now at 2,978. One Wednesday. They have reported 475 new deaths from the novel coronavirus which is now considered as the highest death toll ever recorded in one day by a nation.
The previous record was at 368 which was in Italy as well on Sunday. In a previous article, outside China, where the virus has been discovered, the Italy has become among the country to have hit the hardest by this virus. The number of confirmed cases have now reached 35,713. There is at least one death due to the virus recorded every four minutes.
The Prime Minister already imposed a lockdown on all non-essential businesses with only the essential remained open such as groceries and pharmacy stores. China already extended help to the nation and sent them tons of medical equipment to prevent spread of virus and some medical experts.
Meanwhile, in Philippines, 17 new cases have been reported. In order to contain the spread of the virus, the entire Luzon was placed under an “enhanced community quarantine” and a state of calamity was also declared in the whole Philippines.
This highly contagious virus has worst effect to people of old age and with underlying conditions. This is which is why experts advised people to stay at home, eat healthy, practice proper hygiene, and strengthen the immunity in order to help prevent the spread of the virus.
