The conflict between the House of Representatives (HOR) and the General National Congress (GNC) are the ones who caused the ongoing civil war in Libya.
These government forces aim to control oil products and the whole country.
Since it started in 2014, several places and establishment have been destroyed because of the escalating war.

General Khalifa Haftar launched an attack on Tripoli last April 4. His latest attack caused several deaths.
Based on a report from Philstar, the Philippine embassy in Libya placed a flag on the building rooftop to avoid being targeted.
Ambassador Elmer Caro shared several photos showing embassy officers placing a huge Philippine flag on the rooftop.
Elmer Cato expressed on his caption that they hoped that the embassy won’t be targeted by mistake.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “With more and more airstrikes in and around Tripoli, we wanted to make sure that [Philippine Embassy in Libya] will not be targeted by mistake by making it clearly identifiable from the air as a diplomatic mission – one of the several that remain open in the Libyan capital.”
