Pres. Bongbong Marcos Says INC Rallyists Not Chaotic

BONGBONG MARCOS – The President expressed his gratitude to the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) rallyists for keeping their protest safe for everyone.

The rally conducted by the members of Iglesia ni Cristo is currently on its third day now. The said surprise rally by the INC members is in support of Senator Rodante Marcoleta amid the possible filing of plunder charges against him.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos previously ordered maximum tolerance on the INC surprise rally as well as for things to return to normal soon. According to Malacañang, the Chief Executive respects the people’s right to conduct protests.

Some senators came to the INC surprise rally. One of them is the sister of Pres. Bongbong Marcos, Sen. Imee Marcos. It is no secret to the Filipino people that the Senator aligned herself with the Dutertes amid the issue between her brother and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and her family.

At the INC protest, Sen. Imee Marcos slammed the government led by Pres. Bongbong Marcos and even called it “bangag”. She called on the Filipinos to be part of the pursuit of allegedly bringing back that is fair between the rich and the poor.

“Wala silang pakialam basta’s itong gobyerno ay bangag, walang malay, nagkukunwaring hindi nakikita ang sambunton na ibedensya, ang dose-dosenang testigo, ang labing-walo higit pang mga marines, itong baha at flood control na lulunod sa ating lahat. Wala silang pakialam,” she expressed.

Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos spoke on the INC surprise rally. Based on News5, the President commended the protest for being peaceful. He stressed that INC rallies are not chaotic.

“Pinakaimportante sa amin, walang masaktan. Either tig-[Iglesia ni Cristo] o kung sino man na mapunta roon,” Marcos Jr. said.

According to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, he is confident as the INC members rally peacefully. He admitted that his concern is more on information that agitates the public. Based on the post, the President expressed his gratitude to the rallyists.

“Let’s just keep everything stable and peaceful. And so far, it has been. So, I thank everybody involved for keeping it safe for everybody,” he said.

Amid the possible filing of plunder charges against him, Sen. Rodante Marcoleta claimed that some of the P75 million campaign donations to him are from his friends.
