KATHERINE LUNA – Actress Katherine Luna is proving that second chances are real after sharing a video of her remarkable eye recovery following surgery.
Katherine Luna recently shared an update on her health and personal journey, expressing heartfelt gratitude to her ex-boyfriend, Coco Martin, and his partner, Julia Montes, who funded her eye surgery. The procedure, Luna said, has been instrumental in helping her regain both her eyesight and confidence.
On her TikTok account, Luna posted a video showing her condition before the surgery. She revealed that she had struggled with uncontrolled eye movements due to an untreated infection. The footage also documented the noticeable improvement in her eyes just a few days after the medical procedure, showcasing the positive results of the treatment.
“Buong akala ko noon, wala nang pag-asa… Pero heto ako ngayon, nabigyan ng isa pang pagkakataon sa tulong ng ating Panginoon at ng mga taong ginawa niyang instrumento para tulungan at iahon ako mula sa pagkakasadlak,” Luna said, reflecting on her journey back to health.
In another TikTok post, she candidly discussed past mistakes, particularly involving drug use, emphasizing that she has remained “clean” for about a year. She highlighted her dedication to transforming her life for the sake of her children.
“Simula nung nalaman ko na may tutulong sa akin, na may taong handang tumulong sa aking sa kabila ng maling nagawa ko sa buhay, ang sarap sa pakiramdam. ‘Yun ang nakatulong sa akin,” she shared emotionally.
Luna also expressed her deep appreciation to Martin and Montes, pledging to make the most of their support. “Kaya kay direk Coco, kay ma’am Julia, taos puso talaga akong nagpapasalamat sa kanila. Hindi ko sasayangin ‘yung [tulong nila],” she vowed.
Adding a lighter touch to her updates, Luna posted a video of herself dancing, captioned, “‘Yung hindi mo akalain na babalik ulit sa dati ‘yung itsura at confidence mo,” demonstrating the joy she feels in regaining her self-assurance.
