Jamie Rivera talked about what she believes about salvation
Gospel singer Jamie Rivera shared her thoughts on claims that members of the LGBTQ+ community will go to hell.
Jamie has inspired a lot of people through her songs of faith and hope. Over the years, she is known for her inspirational endeavors when it comes to lifting up people’s faith.
In a recent guesting on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, based on the article in Inquirer, Jamie was asked about her opinion regarding some people’s belief that LGBTQ+ people will not have the salvation that other people will have.

“I would disagree with that. I only have gratitude and great respect for the LGBTQ community,” the Gospel singer said.
Jamie Rivera stressed that members of the LGBTQ+ Community have helped her a lot in so many ways. They contributed significant roles in her career, especially during her early years in the entertainment industry.
“In my humble beginnings, Boy Navarrete did my makeup for free up until the time that I could already afford to pay,” the singer said.
Jamie also shared that designer Arnold Galang dressed her up and provided her beautiful costumes. “As I said earlier, Kuya Boy, you were my publicist and you didn’t ask for anything,” she added.
The King of Talk is one of the prominent LGBTQI+ individuals in show business. Jamie also stressed that judgment has no place when she was surrounded by kind road manager and LGBTQ friends.

“They protected me. So what is there to judge for if you’re surrounded by angels? Sila ‘yung mga tumulong sa akin. For me, they will go to heaven. That is my point of view,” the seasoned singer shared.
In the same interview, Jamie Rivera also shared her thoughts on the concept that wives should be submissive to their husbands. She agreed with this, but to a certain context. For her, this should not reach the point that a wife is already unhappy and has lost her freedom, and ability to grow.
For the Gospel singer, it is important to have a constant communication between the couple regarding the do’s and don’t’s in their relationship, including the adjustment that both sides had to do.
