After her interview with Julius Babao, actress Katherine Luna received help from Primetime King Coco Martin, despite their controversial past. He helped her in many ways to improve her life and get out of the miserable situation she was in.
As someone who received help from Coco and his partner, Julia Montes, she promised not to waste the chance they provided her.
Recently, when asked to detail what kind of help she received from them, she shared that they were the ones who paid for her eye surgery. She also received financial support from them, which they used to start a small business that provided them with income for their daily consumption.
“Kaya po kay Direk Coco, kay Ma’am Julia, taos-puso talaga akong nagpapasalamat sa kanila. Walang laman ang isip, ang puso ko ngayon, kundi puro pasasalamat lang. At hindi ko sasayangin yun,” she expressed.
Their help gave her hope, and it provided her motivation to re-focus her life.
She also made sure to avoid any contact with anyone or anything that would drag her back to her addiction that wrecked her life. Her focus now is on her children and providing for them. She is focused on changing her life and becoming a better person. She also strengthened her faith, from which she draws strength, so that she will not go back to her old ways.
“Natulungan nila ako sa pagpapagamot ng mata ko at nagpaabot din po sila ng tulong pinansyal sa akin at kay Nicole,” she added, as she also spoke how deeply grateful she is to them.
