Robi Domingo Shares Friends, Families’ Reactions Over Pregnancy Announcement

Here are the reactions after Robi Domingo and his wife made the announcement.

Television host Robi Domingo and his wife, Maiqui Pineda, are expecting their first baby, and here are the reactions to the announcement.

TV host Robi Domingo and his wife, Maiqui Pineda, announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their first child. This marks a major milestone for the celebrity couple, who tied the knot a couple of years ago.

Through a video posted on their Instagram accounts, their announcement said, “Two years married… and now our greatest blessing is on the way.”

It included a clip of them together, taken on the day they found out that they were having a baby. The footage was recorded in September 2025 when Maiqui took a pregnancy test, then revealed it to Robi, capturing their emotional reaction.

In another post, Robi first shared Maiqui’s pregnancy with their family and friends, and they had the most heart-warming reactions.

Vice Ganda, Kathryn Bernardo, Anne Curtis, Donny Pangilinan, Darren Espanto, Enchong Dee, Coco Martin, and BINI Mikha were among his celebrity friends who were able to know about the great news first.

Domingo and Pineda are both alumni of Ateneo de Manila University. They reconnected in 2017 after meeting again at an ABS-CBN Christmas party. The friendship flourished, and they eventually grew closer, leading to the start of their relationship in 2018.

They got engaged in 2022 at the Shibuya crossing in Tokyo, Japan. In 2024, they tied the knot, and last year, 2025, they found out about their pregnancy in an intimate church ceremony at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Pulilan, Bulacan.

Their pregnancy announcement follows a difficult time for the couple. In August 2023, Pineda shared that she had been diagnosed with dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness, inflammation, and skin rashes. By December 2024, she revealed that she was in clinical remission, with symptoms barely present.
