Coco Martin’s real name is Rodel Pacheco Nacianceno who was born on November 1, 1981 in Sampaloc, Manila. His parents are Ramon Nacianceno and Maria Teresa Pacheco. He was raised in Novaliches, Quezon City but his parents separated and he came a street kid.
It is no secret to the public that Coco is a devotee of the Black Nazarene. When he was a child, he would usually go to Quiapo Church together with his grandmother.
Despite poverty, Coco strived in school. He took Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the National College of Business and Arts in Quezon City. He has worked as a janitor in Alberta, Canada.
Coco’s Showbiz Career
Coco Martin started his showbiz career under the ABS-CBN – where he is now one of the network’s biggest stars. He is an alumnus of Star Circle Batch 9 and his first film appearance was in Luv Text in 2001.
After the said cameo project, several other opportunities in the Philippine entertainment industry came Coco’s way. He was part of Tayong Dalawa in 2009 and Nagsimula sa Puso in the same year.
He was also part of Kung Tayo’s Magkakalayo in 2010, Walang Hanggan in 2012, and a mainstream film, Born To Love You.

Undeniably, his portrayal of Cardo Dalisay in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is the most popular role of Coco. The said Kapamilya TV series is airing for several years now and is one of the longest-airing TV series in showbiz. Coco Martin’s age now is 39.
