In Metro Manila, overnight rains from the Southwest Monsoon, enhanced by Crising, triggered floods in multiple areas. According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, affected roads included Padre Faura going to UN Avenue LRT station, the Padre Faura intersection, Taft Avenue in front of the National Bureau of Investigation, and several sections of España Boulevard from M. Dela Fuente, Maceda, and Blumentritt to Antipolo Street.

In Malabon, the Public Information Office reported flooding in Barangays Panghulo, Hulong Duhat, Concepcion, Catmon, Tañong, San Agustin, and Ibaba. Fortunately, water levels there have started to recede.

Meanwhile, one gate of the Binga Dam was opened at 0.5 meters to release excess water due to the heavy rainfall. The water level at the dam’s reservoir reached 573.05 meters.

In Iguig, Cagayan, the area around Ugac Elementary School was already flooded past 7 a.m., based on photos shared by teacher Analyn Quinagoran. The floodwaters reached knee-level, or nearly two feet deep. Quinagoran said the school often floods due to its low-lying location.

In Cavite, Ternate West National High School was also submerged in floodwater caused by the monsoon rains.
