The skeleton from a septic tank was confirmed to be the remains of the missing teen since 2020, according to the authorities.
MISSING TEEN SINCE 2020 named Quinnie Grace Arong, 17 years old, was found, but only her skeletons were recovered in a septic tank.
Seemingly straight out of a serial killer series or book was the story of Quinnie Grace Arong. The 17-year-old teen has been missing since March 2020, and ever since, her family has tirelessly searched for her, but for years, their efforts have received no result.
Not until July 14, 2024. A property owner ordered to excavate a septic tank, and amid the process, a skull was recovered. The people who did the excavating were shocked to unearth and unravel several objects, with the skeletal remains being the most terrifying of all.
Other things taken out of the septic tank included a wristwatch, clothes, pants, shoes, and Arong’s favorite socks. A rope was also discovered, and it was believed that this was used to tie the sack that kept her body.
Recently, the authorities have determined the identity of the skeletons and confirmed that they belonged to Arong. Tagum City Police Chief Lt. Col. Wildemar Tiu also added that they had already identified a possible suspect and assured that they were reinforcing their efforts in terms of the investigation to arrest the person behind the heinous crime.
As per the initial investigation, the suspect posed as a photographer with tempting offers and promises of modeling opportunities. This was allegedly the suspect’s way to lure women, and the authorities are still investigating for other motives. According to the observations, the suspect may have had predatory tendencies.
Women are warned to be cautious when dealing with and meeting strangers.
