Kapuso Actor David Licauco Speaks on “maghahanap ng bagong girlfriend”
DAVID LICAUCO – The Kapuso actor revealed his relationship status in December at the launching of his coffee business.
The “BarDa”, the loveteam of David and fellow Kapuso star Barbie Forteza, is one of the phenomenal loveteams in the Philippine showbiz industry now. It started when they worked together in the 2022 series Maria Clara at Ibarra and the viewers noticed the admirable chemistry between the two (2) celebrities.
Then, Barbie is in a relationship with Kapuso actor Jak Roberto for several years already. In June 2024, David claimed on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that he is in a relationship but he did not reveal further details regarding his girlfriend.
Undeniably, the chemistry and closeness of David Licauco and Barbie Forteza have sparked rumors linking them to each other. There are also a lot of people who are shipping the two (2) celebrities to each other.
In December, David Licauco revealed his relationship status. During the livestream of the launch of his new coffee business, Good Drip, the Kapuso actor revealed that he is single as he commented about “maghahanap ng bagong girlfriend”.
The said livestream took place in December 15, 2024. The Kapuso actor is one of the celebrities who is private with regards to his love life.
In previous interviews, David Licauco also claimed that he feels romantic excitement or kilig whenever he is with his loved ones. His ideal age to get married is between 35 to 36 years old and he wants “someone who is smart and understanding”.
The name of David is undeniably one of those dragged in the breakup of Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto which was recently announced by the actress. The two (2) celebrities have ended their relationship after 7 years of being together.
Barbie bid Jak a “beautiful goodbye” through a social media post that shocked countless netizens and saddened many people most especially the “JakBie” fans and supporters. The Kapuso actress stressed the famous line of Dr. Seuss.
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened,” Barbie cited.
Barbie Forteza also said that “sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together”. She stated that having Jak Roberto in her life is the happiest she has ever been and she is grateful for his “exceptional” love.
Barbie thanked Jak for the way he loved her and expressed her hope that he will find the love that he deserves. Amid the breakup of Jak and Barbie, David Licauco earned a lot of comments.
