Ryan Bang Admits Relationship w/ Paola Huyong Is Over, But Denies Cheating
RYAN BANG – “It’s Showtime” host Ryan Bang has opened up about his breakup and addressed long-standing rumors surrounding his love life.
“It’s Showtime” host Ryan Bang has officially confirmed that he and his fiancée, Paola Huyong, have ended their relationship. The television personality opened up about his current relationship status during a recent episode of Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda’s vlog.
During their conversation, Vice directly asked Ryan if he was now single. Without hesitation, Ryan replied, “Yes, I’m single.”
Vice Ganda then followed up by asking, “You’ve been single since?”
“Personally, sa side ko, January,” Ryan answered. He also revealed that he made efforts to save their relationship before ultimately accepting the breakup.
“Tinry ko, e. Tinry ko na ayusin kasi alam ko na no’ng panahon na ‘yon, hindi ko maintindihan ba’t hindi dapat umabot nang ganito. I was trying, I was hoping. I was praying na maayos.”
Ryan also addressed rumors surrounding the end of their engagement. While admitting that he may have had shortcomings in the relationship, he firmly denied allegations that he had been unfaithful to Paola.
He said, “I never [cheated]. Hindi totoo ‘yong mga sinasabi ng mga tao.”
Despite the painful separation, Ryan shared that he remains grateful for the time he spent with Paola and her family. According to him, her family had always been kind and welcoming to him throughout their relationship.
The confirmation comes months after Vice seemingly hinted at Ryan’s single status earlier this year. During a January 22 episode of “It’s Showtime,” contestant Rea revealed that she had worked as a caddie at a golf club in Antipolo, where Ryan frequently played.
The hosts then called Ryan over and introduced him to Rea. During their lighthearted exchange, Rea jokingly mentioned that Ryan supposedly liked beautiful caddies, prompting laughter from fellow hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro.
“Di ako ‘yon,” Ryan said with a smile.
Vice quickly came to his defense and remarked, “Binata naman ang anak ko. Ano namang masama? Binata, eligible.”
Speculation about Ryan and Paola’s breakup first surfaced in September 2025 after netizens noticed that their engagement photos were no longer visible on Paola’s Instagram account, fueling rumors that the couple had quietly gone their separate ways.
