Netizen Goes Viral for Showing Compassion to Kids He Encountered at a Festival
A netizen went viral online after sharing his encounter with two children at a festival, saying, “Kulang pala ang pera nila.”
Kindness is the act of being compassionate, caring, and considerate toward others. It involves showing empathy, generosity, and understanding, often through small gestures or words that make someone feel valued or supported.
Kindness can take many forms, such as offering help, giving compliments, or simply being patient and respectful in interactions with others. It’s a way of showing goodwill and promoting positivity in the world, often without expecting anything in return.
Recently, Mark Paul Balino Misola, a Facebook user, posted about his experience with two children at a festival. He noticed that the kids were short on money while trying to buy something and decided to lend a hand.
While at Lawson in Festival Mall, Misola spotted two young children, one of whom was celebrating a birthday. The young boy confidently pulled out a handful of coins, believing it was enough to pay for the items they wanted.
However, upon reaching the cashier, it became clear that they didn’t have enough money. When the cashier told the kids the price, Misola stepped in to cover the difference. He asked how much was lacking and immediately handed over a larger amount to help.
The cashier deducted a small amount from the boy’s coins, and Misola received the remaining change. The children were overjoyed and expressed their gratitude for his kind gesture.

“Lawson, Festival
Convo with Cashier
Cashier: Sir 120 po isa yung binibili nila.
Me: Magkano po kulang? (Sabay abot ng 1k)
Cashier: Kunin ko nalang po yung 60 dito sa baryang binigay nya (nung batang lalaki) para 700 nalang po sukli mo.
Me: Aa okay po.
Mga Bata: Salamat po.
Epic to, tuwang-tuwa ako sa inyo dito Raine Liam Pasia

The incident touches many hearts due to the boy’s innocent intention to treat his companion with what little money he had, not realizing it wouldn’t be enough. Misola’s thoughtful act points out the importance of kindness, especially when it comes to helping others, no matter how small the situation may seem.
