MUPH 2026 TOP 10 – The race to the crown tightens, and here are the names of those who are advancing to the semifinals.
The competition for the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 crown is intensifying as the organization reveals the first batch of candidates advancing to the semifinals.
With the much-awaited coronation night set for May 2, a total of 30 semifinalists are expected to take the stage, including 10 wildcard entries chosen from candidates who were earlier eliminated during the pageant’s activities.
Recently, 10 names were dropped as semifinalists through voting via the Maya app.
These candidates are:
- Alicia Buendia (Rizal/Filipino Society of Southern California)
- Ella Evangelista (Quezon Province/Filipino Society of Australia)
- Cherieze Cacayorin (Ilocos Norte/Filipino Society of Hawaii)
- Jenrose Javier (Sultan Kudarat)
- Donna Rein Nuguid (Pangasinan)
- Jencel Caña (Cavite)
- Alexandria Colmenares (Negros Occidental)
- Lyneree Montero-Yodong (Mountain Province)
- Chrystel Mae Correos (Tandag City)
- Jayka Munsayac (San Jose, Negros Oriental/Filipino Society of Bellevue, Washington)
The remaining semifinalists will be announced on May 2. Another 10 candidates will be chosen by the judges, along with five wildcard entries and five brand award recipients, completing the final list of 30 semifinalists for the competition.
During the finale, the semifinalists will first compete in the swimsuit round, where the group will be narrowed down to 15. The evening gown segment follows, cutting the number to seven finalists. From there, the final question-and-answer round will determine who will be crowned the next Miss Universe Philippines, along with her runners-up.
Meanwhile, the first 10 queens have already secured their spots in the coronation night after emerging as top choices through public voting, giving them an early edge in the competition.

The grand coronation night:
- Date: May 2, 2026
- Time: 7:00 PM (Philippine time)
- Venue: SM Mall of Asia Arena
Preliminary voting:
- Free votes – Available to users with upgraded Maya accounts, allowing limited daily votes at no cost
- Paid votes – Additional votes that can be purchased using a Maya Wallet during the preliminary rounds
Live scoring during coronation night:
To use this feature, a Premium Pass must be purchased on or before May 2, 2026.
Once activated, users can rate candidates from 1 to 10 as they walk the runway in each segment of the competition.
Scores can be revised until the final candidate in a round has completed her walk, after which all submissions become final.
Voting mechanics
- Access the Miss Universe Philippines section within the Maya app.
- Review and accept the platform’s terms and conditions.
- Select a preferred candidate through search or browsing.
- Allocate votes using either free credits (for eligible accounts) or paid options.
- For paid transactions, ensure a sufficient wallet balance to confirm the vote.

- Open the Maya app during the coronation broadcast.
- Purchase and activate the Premium Pass
- Follow the in-app prompts for each scoring round.
- Rate candidates individually as they appear onstage.
