Barbie Forteza teased a more serious project in the future
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza said that she is now ready to portray more mature roles.
Barbie is now 28 years old, and along with embracing adulting, she is also doing the same thing when it comes to her showbiz career. She grew up before the public’s eyes, as she started young in the entertainment industry.
Barbie used to portray the younger versions of female leads in teleseryes. For many years, she was known for her wholesome characters in youth-oriented shows.
In recent years, Barbie Forteza has showcased her acting caliber through various roles in movies and teleseryes, which only proved her versatility.
In a recent interview, based on a recent article in GMA Entertainment, Barbie is set to present to her viewers a different side of her this year.
Alongside her 29th birthday on July 31, the Kapuso star is ready to embrace more mature roles in her acting projects. The actress described her recent movie Saving Cherry as a platform that gave her liberty.
“A liberating experience for me. It’s definitely a different Barbie, a wild Barbie that you have to watch out for. As in may mga medyo-medyo sxy, sxy tayong [scenes] na magaganap,” the Kapuso star said.
Aside from that film, Barbie is also busy with her upcoming series Honor Thy Mother with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Meanwhile, Barbie Forteza received praise from the Megastar in a social media post last week. Sharon shared behind-the-scenes photos with Barbie, and this made their fans so happy.
Barbie also received praise from Direk Ivan Payawal, the director of Saving Cherry, as well as from her co-star Mika Salamanca. Aside from her acting prowess, Barbie is also lauded for her work ethic and professionalism.
