Comedian-actor Dennis Padilla shared that he hopes to receive complete forgiveness from his children, Julia Barretto, Claudia, and Leon.
The last time Dennis Padilla was reunited with his children with Marjorie Barretto was in 2025. It was a moment that delighted many of their supporters. At the time, it signaled a great development in their relationship; however, things took a major turn again.
Julia Barretto, Claudia Barretto, and Leon Barretto are his children with Marjorie, and previously, he expressed sadness over Claudia’s renewed decision to officially drop his last name from her name.
Amid this conflict, he remains hopeful that they would someday forgive him completely. He expressed hope for forgiveness and reconciliation with his children as he spoke about Claudia’s petition. He admitted that he is hurt, but his love for them has never wavered.
Padilla revealed that Claudia filed the petition in 2025 and that he was originally scheduled to appear at a court hearing in June. However, he said the Clerk of Court later informed him that the hearing had been postponed to September.
The legal documents he received indicated that only Claudia filed the petition.
As the hearing approaches, he admitted, “Parang nung una parang magaan na magaan ‘yung loob ko tapos eventually habang palapit na, parang may heaviness.”
However, he has no plans to oppose or object, as Claudia is now a grown adult who knows what she wants and is even married to Basti Lorenzo. He just hopes that before the scheduled hearing, he can speak to Claudia personally, saying he would rather express his feelings directly than continue relying on digital messages.
He assured them that despite the petition, he will always be a father to them. He added, “I’m just a text away, or I’m just a call away anytime, anytime.”
