Male Netizen Expresses Frustration After His Parents Was Scammed by Female Customer
A male netizen expressed his disappointment online after their small food business was allegedly scammed by a female customer.
Recently, Rhobbie Fernandez, a Facebook user, shared photos of the female customer who scammed his parents before disappearing. The post quickly spread on social media and received different reactions from netizens.
According to Rhobbie, the incident happened around 11:33 in the morning on May 26, 2026, in Cayanga, San Fabian, Pangasinan. A man and a woman arrived at their eatery and ordered food like regular customers.

At first, the family did not suspect anything unusual because the pair acted normally while eating.
While they were having their meal, the woman was reportedly talking on her cellphone and later told Rhobbie’s parents that there would be a birthday celebration nearby. She then asked them to prepare 30 packs of rice and buy out several of their viands for the supposed gathering.
Rhobbie’s parents immediately started preparing the food. While the meals were being arranged, the woman allegedly borrowed P500 from his father and another P1,500 from his mother.

Fernandez reportedly explained that she had no cash with her and would just return the money after buying a cake for the birthday celebration.
The woman then called for a tricycle and left for town. However, after waiting for almost an hour, she never came back. That was when the family started to realize they had likely been scammed.
Rhobbie said the most painful part was not the inconvenience of preparing the food, but the loss of P2,000, especially at a time when prices of goods are already high and earnings from small businesses are limited. He also felt hurt because his elderly parents became victims of the incident.
The family has already reported the matter to the San Fabian Police Station and is now asking anyone who may recognize the suspects to contact them.
