Wilie Revillame was spotted with Kapuso executives
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame sparked speculation that he might return to the Kapuso network.
Willie’s show has aired on various TV networks. His first variety show aired on ABS-CBN. Then, for several years, his game show aired on TV5, but eventually, he transferred to GMA.
His show Wowowin aired on the Kapuso network from 2015 to 2022. However, he made a major decision when he signed a contract with ALLTV, which did not last long as he cut their ties in 2023.
There was a “discussion” about Willie Revillame’s partnership with government TV network PTV and IBC. Then, his partnership with TV5 happened again. His show Wil To Win aired for quite a while, but he decided to run for senator in the 2025 midterm elections, which meant that he had to bid goodbye to the show.
After his unsuccessful stint in politics, talk about Willie’s return to TV circulated. After this, his Wilyonaryo digital show was launched.
Just recently, based on the article in Inquirer, Willie Revillame was seen in a meeting with GMA Network executives. This happened after it was announced that his Wowowin show would return.
Because of this, it was also speculated that he would return to the Kapuso network. Willie was seen dining at a restaurant with GMA Network Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and one more companion.
Marcelo shared a photo of this on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, April 28. However, no further details were shared regarding the said meeting.
Willie Revillame recently shared that his online show, Wilyonaryo, will end its run on May 15 as he prepares for the TV comeback of Wowowin. He noted that Wilyonaryo is transitioning into a gaming-focused format restricted by social media policies; as a result, the show will move to its own website and proceed without him.
