Woman Expresses Frustration Over Bag Slashing Incident in Naga City Plaza
A woman is reminding everyone to stay alert after she experienced a bag slashing incident involving suspected thieves in a busy area of Naga City.
A bag slashing robbery is a type of theft where a criminal secretly cuts a person’s bag using a sharp object, such as a blade or cutter, to steal valuables inside. It usually happens in crowded places where it is easier for thieves to blend in and avoid being noticed.
Recently, a female victim experienced a theft attempt around 11 in the morning at Naga City Plaza, near the tricycle terminal going to SM Naga.
According to the victim, she was suddenly surrounded by a group of people while walking. Even though she tried to move away and keep her distance, she felt herself being pushed from different sides.
Eventually, she realized her bag had been slashed. Thankfully, nothing was taken from her, and she was not physically harmed. Still, the experience left her shaken and more aware of how quickly such incidents can happen, even in broad daylight.
The woman remembered noticing something unusual earlier that day. While she was still at the bank, she felt like someone was watching her. It made her believe that she may have been followed and targeted before the actual incident took place.

The lady netizen reported the matter to the authorities right away, hoping that security cameras in the area could help identify the suspects. However, she was informed that there were currently no CCTV cameras covering that specific spot.
