Leon Barretto has come from one of the most prominent showbiz families in the Philippines. Despite the connections, the social media personality is not rushing into an entertainment career just yet.
After Leon graduated from college last year, he decided to move out of their family home and live alone in a condo. He is enjoying his life with independence. He is loving his adulting life, including its challenges and the rewarding feelings it brings. It’s a fulfilling experience, and he added that managing his own place and daily routine has given him a stronger sense of accomplishment and personal growth.
In a recent interview, Leon shared that while he has considered following in the footsteps of his mother, Marjorie Barretto, and sister Julia Barretto, for now, he still prefers to stay out of the spotlight and enjoy a more private life. For him, taking the time to grow personally and professionally is a priority before stepping into a more demanding and public career.
“I don’t want to get into something that I really don’t know of. I do know the ropes a little bit, but I think I need to hone my craft before entering it. But also, I enjoy the little privacy that I have,” he said.
For him, showbiz is going to be there, but personally, he wants to do other things, such as getting his master’s, starting his own business, and many other things. He wants to explore and doesn’t want to be locked out.
As of now, his focus is on content creation, and as a content creator, he makes sure to share his authentic side.
