Jopay Paguia Shares the Powerful Prayer That Led Her Back to SexBomb Girls
JOPAY PAGUIA – Faith and fame collided in Jopay Paguia’s life when she faced one of the biggest decisions of her career.
Jopay Paguia has opened up about how her faith guided her decision to rejoin the iconic girl group SexBomb Girls after previously stepping away because of her religious convictions.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the Philippines’ King of Talk, Jopay candidly shared that she once hesitated to return to the group due to her involvement in church activities. She admitted that she had left the group twice before finally deciding to come back for good.

“Siguro nakadalawang alis yata ako. Una, umalis, pero bumalik. Tapos, nung last, nung na engage ako, umalis ulit ako,” she recalled.
During her second departure, Jopay became deeply involved in church service and believed it was her true calling at the time. For about a year, she stayed away from the group while serving in her religious community. However, uncertainty lingered in her heart, prompting her to seek clarity through prayer.
Pinag pray ko talaga yan,” she continued.
Everything changed after a heartfelt conversation with her pastor.
Kumanta at sumayaw.

Still seeking confirmation, Jopay asked God for a clear sign.
That unmistakable sign came when she saw children dancing to their hit track, The Spaghetti Song. Since then, Jopay has embraced her return, continuing her journey as a proud member of the SexBomb Girls while staying grounded in her faith.
