Minor Stole P7,000 from Piso WiFi Machine at Oyotorong Terminal
A minor was caught on CCTV while stealing P7,000 from a Piso WiFi machine at Oyotorong Terminal during wee hours.
Piso WiFi machines are common in many communities. They provide affordable internet access to students, workers, and travelers who need to go online even for a short time. For small business owners, these machines also serve as a source of extra income
On February 17, 2026, a young thief was caught on CCTV robbing a Piso WiFi machine, which raised concern among local residents and small business owners in the area.

Based on the CCTV footage, a minor was seen approaching a piso WiFi vending machine installed at the terminal. Moments later, the machine was forcibly opened and the money inside was taken.
According to the owner of the piso WiFi, around P7,000 was stolen from the machine. The owner shared that this was not the first time someone tried to break into their vending machine. Just a few days earlier, on February 13, two other minors allegedly attempted to open the same unit.
Fortunately, their earlier attempt failed, and no money was taken at that time.

Incidents like this are painful and frustrating for operators who work hard to maintain their units.
Many residents expressed disappointment after learning that minors were involved in the theft. Some are calling for stronger guidance from parents and guardians, while others are urging the community to help look after small businesses in the area.
