Pres. Bongbong Marcos Gives Message for Filipino Teachers

BONGBONG MARCOS – The President assured the teachers of the efforts of the government to help them achieve continued growth in their career.

Amid the talks about the 2028 Elections in the Philippines, Malacañang claimed that there are currently no talks within the administration about the presidential bet of Pres. Bongbong Marcos in the next national polls and the possible coalitions.

According to Palace press office undersecretary Claire Castro, there are no mentions about Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ presidential bet and the possible coalitions in 2028 as he is busy in the preparations for the upcoming ASEAN. The Malacañang press officer also claimed that the President is talking with his economic team for the country’s progress.

The claim of the Palace came after Vice Pres. Sara Duterte announced that she is running for president in 2028. According to Duterte, she has come to realize that her life is not hers to live alone.

Marcos Jr. and Duterte’s close ties had a falling out in 2024 after a victorious tandem during the 2022 Elections. According to Castro, those who are thinking about politics now are allegedly after their own interest.

“If you’re a politician, you will think of the next election. But if you are a statesman, you will think of the next generation. So, yung mga nag-iisip ngayon ng politika, ang aga-aga, alam mo na ang nasa dibdib, para i-angat ang sarili, i-promote agad ang sarili. Hindi iniisip na i-promote ang bansa,” the Malacañang press official said.

Marcos Jr. vowed that he will not allow that the sacrifices of the educators will not be repaid. Based on the post, he assured the teachers of the efforts of the government so no teacher will retire as Teacher I.

“Hindi ako papayag na hindi masuklian ang inyong sakripisyo. Kaya gumagawa tayo ng mga hakbang upang marami pang guro ang tumaas ang posisyon… at walang sinuman na teacher ang magre-retire na Teacher I,”
