Ronald Llamas responded to the comment from Robin Padilla
Senator Robin Padilla commented on the physical attributes of political analyst Ronald Llamas.
To recall, this issue started when Llamas shared his opinion about the actor-turned-politician. He said that Padilla would never be number one again if he ran in the 2028 elections as senator. The political analyst also said that Padilla was the big reason why many celebrities who ran in the 2025 midterm elections did not win.
This did not sit well with the Senator. In his response to the political analyst, he said that Llamas should stop criticizing people. Even though Padilla did not mention the political analyst’s name, it was quite obvious when he mentioned that the person was caught buying pirated DVDs.
It was because reports surfaced that Ronald Llamas bought pirated CDs. This was known as an illegal act that is under the Copyright Law.
In Sen. Robin Padilla’s statement, he also mentioned the word “pangit” or ugly. “Parang pinatutunayan niyo po ang sinasabi ng isang abogada na pangit po kasi kayo kaya d’yan nanggaling ang galit niyo sa artista,” he said.
This was aside from his question about the credibility of Llamas as a political analyst since his candidates did not win.
Based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the political analyst replied to this statement made by Senator Robin Padilla. “Okay lang kahit pangit. Hindi naman krimen yon eh. Basta huwag maging pangit ang budhi at traydor sa bansa,” he wrote in his Facebook post.
Meanwhile, Sen. Robin Padilla declared in December last year that he would not run in the 2028 elections, even though his supporters have been urging him to run for senator again, while some pushed him to run for vice president. His wife, celebrity online seller Mariel Padilla, said that people do not deserve her husband.
