Anne Curtis thanked people who sent heartwarming messages to her
Kapamilya actress-host Anne Curtis shared an appreciation post for her late father, James Curtis-Smith.
Anne is known for her vibrant personality, aside from being one of the most beautiful faces in the Philippine entertainment industry. With her years in showbiz, doing various acting and hosting projects, and even some concerts, she captured the hearts of many people who became her fans and supporters over the years.
At the start of 2026, Anne faced a challenging moment. Through her social media post, she announced the death of her father. Her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith also shared a heartfelt post about their father.

More than a week later, the Kapamilya actress-host shared a post appreciating her late father. She featured her photos with her father, including her childhood photos with him. With this, it was obvious how close Anne was to her father.
Aside from having a great father figure in her life, she also found a friend in him. “Left Australia with a heavy heart, yet in my memories, we’ll never part dad. “I’ll see you when I see you,” my huckleberry friend, my gentle giant, my father dearest —always, until then,” the famous Fil-Aussie celebrity wrote.
Anne also admitted that she is still grieving, and this comes in waves. “The pain may pass (occasionally popping in to say hi) but remembering the special little moments I had with Dad is something I’ll always do,” she shared.
In her post, the actress-host also showed appreciation for people who reached out to her. Even though she has not yet read all the messages, she thanked everyone who showed support amid this sad chapter in her life.
Anne Curtis is also looking forward to sharing happy moments with her supporters through the Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime.
“I haven’t been able to read all of the messages but thank you to everyone who sent their condolences. See you guys on Showtime soon, need me some of that endless laughter,” she wrote.
