Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo’s relationship was put in the hot seat
Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado shared this Instagram post amid the recent rumor about her relationship with her husband, Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo.
Jennylyn and Dennis’s relationship was one of those “love is lovelier the second time around” type. During their younger years, romance bloomed between them, but they separated and had other relationships.
Dennis had a son with former beauty queen Carlene Aguilar, while Jennylyn had a son with actor Patrick Garcia.
After having their second chance at love, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo tied the knot and welcomed their daughter, Dylan. They were able to make the blended family set up work well.
However, a rumor just recently surfaced claiming that Jennylyn is not on good terms and that he was not allowing Dennis to visit his parents.
The Kapuso actor was quick to address this rumor. Through his social media post, he stressed that his wife is one of the kindest people he ever known. He also said that his parents are already old and that they are not showbiz people, and so they should not be dragged into showbiz issues.
Amid the allegations against Jennylyn Mercado, she shared this post that caught the attention of many netizens. It was her behind-the-scenes photo from her current Kapuso series Sanggang-Dikit FR with Dennis.
In the series, she and her husband play the characters of members of the Philippine National Police (PNP). Jennylyn was holding a firearm in the photo, and she wrote in the caption, “Ahhhh ayaw nyo tumigil ah?!? Labaaaaaaas!!!!!”
In the comment section of her post, Dennis wrote, “Mag iingat ka Bobby, Mahal Kita! Solido!” Her friend and fellow Kapuso actress Katrina Halili also left a comment. “Sige bobby laban!” Katrina wrote.
