Former beauty queen Maggie Wilson revealed that trolls were spamming her social media page before the publication of her book.

It is known to many showbiz enthusiasts that Maggie’s personal life became controversial. After announcing her breakup with his estranged husband, businessman Victor Consunji, issues surfaced between them.

Maggie Wilson’s revelation elicited mixed reactions. However, it was noticeable that many women showed support for her and believed in her story.

In November, Maggie announced that she would be releasing her book The Confidence Blueprint. “From silence to strength. From chaos to clarity,” she wrote in the caption of her post about the book.

Just recently, she officially released the book, and she shared that in the first 16 hours, 1,000 copies were already sold and gifted. However, prior to this, she received malicious comments from trolls.

It seems the troll farms put in some serious overtime on my last post. Part of me wants to offer snacks. Commitment like that is almost impressive,” she wrote.

Maggie shared that ever since she announced the launch of her book, fake accounts reappeared and multiplied in an instant. She said that someone is so terrified of the story she is telling. For her, this kind of fear is exhausting.

Then, she had this message to someone who is behind the spamming. “To whoever is bankrolling this little operation: I genuinely hope you find peace. Because paying strangers to attack someone out of panic or insecurity isn’t power, it’s a plea for help. And honestly, I feel sorry for you,” she said.

Maggie said that troll farms have been targeting her, and this kind of scenario is not new to her. However, she will not stop because it is a confirmation that her story is relevant.

People who are afraid of the truth will do anything to silence it, even hide behind fake profiles and copy-paste comments,” the former beauty queen said. Maggie Wilson also thanked those people who saw her through the noise.
