Alden Richards once thought of leaving the entertainment industry

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Alden Richards admitted that it was not really an easy journey. There was a time when burnout came to him. He almost quit showbiz.
“I’d like to consider that as a mild burnout already, na hindi ko lang ina-acknowledge. I just look at it na parang, sabi ko ‘Teka, saan na ba ako papunta talaga?‘” Alden shared.
While he was experiencing that, the Kapuso actor decided to divert his attention to other things. He went back to school.
“Then, I wanted to go back to school, siyempre ‘yung dilemma, ‘yung push and pull when I reached the point of giving up,” he said, adding that he received guidance from above. “Di ako nakakalimutan lagi ni Lord talaga to bring me back again to my feet,” he shared.

In the same interview, the actor also shared his greatest fear, even though he has achieved so many milestones in his career. He feared that he would grow old alone. It just occurred to him now because he was not minding or thinking about himself, as he was focused on other important things.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Alden Richards talked about his decision to be vocal about his views and opinions when it comes to social and political issues. The actor has been using his platform to speak and encourage the public to take part in creating change in the country.
