Teen Gets Injured After Being Stabbed by 3 Minors in Tondo, Manila
A 16-year-old teen is recovering in the hospital after being beaten and stabbed by three minors in Tondo, Manila.
On Thursday night (November 20, 2025), a young man was stabbed and beaten along Dagupan Extension Street in Barangay 164 and was captured by a nearby CCTV camera.
The video showed the victim walking out of a computer shop when three boys, two of them siblings, suddenly attacked him. The suspects punched, kicked, and tried to choke him while the victim struggled to fight back.
As the assault continued, one of the attackers pulled out a balisong and stabbed the boy multiple times, causing him to fall against a parked pedicab. Residents who witnessed the scene rushed in to stop the attack, prompting the suspects to run away.
Despite sustaining six stab wounds on his back, the teenager managed to bring himself to the hospital for treatment.
According to his mother, he went directly to Tondo General Hospital and underwent surgery. She shared that she was summoned to the police station while her son was still in the operating room, making the situation even more difficult for their family.
Barangay officials confirmed that the suspects were known to the victim, which made it easier for them to identify and locate at least one of the boys involved. According to a barangay kagawad, the stabbing suspect claimed that his older brother was only retaliating after allegedly being punched earlier by the victim during a cellphone game with friends.
The conflict led them to look for the boy and confront him. The victim remains confined in the hospital but is gradually improving. His mother is determined to file charges, stating that the family of the suspect has yet to face them or coordinate.
Police from Manila Police District Station 7 are currently continuing their investigation to resolve the case and locate all those involved.
