After Years of Secrecy, AJ Raval Finally Celebrates Christmas Openly With Her Kids
AJ RAVAL – After finally feeling “free,” AJ Raval is embracing the Christmas season with overflowing joy as she prepares heartfelt holiday plans with her children.
AJ Raval is stepping into the holiday season with newfound joy as she looks forward to celebrating her first Christmas freely with her children. After years of keeping her family life private, the actress is now embracing the opportunity to create meaningful moments with her kids—moments she once enjoyed during her own childhood.
She shared that she plans to bring her children to the parks she cherished growing up, places filled with simple joys and precious memories. AJ felt relieved when Jeric Raval accidentally revealed her children with Aljur Abrenica in a press conference, a moment that unexpectedly lifted a burden off her shoulders. Since then, she, Aljur, and their children have begun going out openly, enjoying family time without the pressure of hiding.
Actress AJ Raval is visibly excited as she looks ahead to celebrating Christmas with her children, now that she finally feels “malaya” and no longer has to keep them away from the public. In the second part of her interview—where she appeared alongside her father, Jeric Raval—on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” last Thursday, AJ shared her joy in finally being able to plan openly for the holidays.
“Sobrang excited ko po ngayon. May mga plans na ako. Lalo na po ngayon, magki-Christmas. Ang dami pong park ngayon magki-Christmas, ‘di ba? Kinalakihan ko po kasi ‘yun. Lagi kaming dinadala sa park noong bata. So, gusto ko pong ipa-experience sa kids,” she said, recalling the simple childhood memories she now wants her own children to enjoy.
AJ also talked about the surprising moment when Jeric unintentionally revealed during a press conference that she already had children with her partner, actor Aljur Abrenica. Rather than panic, AJ said she felt a sense of relief.
“Masaya po ako noon. Masaya po talaga ako,” she admitted. “Kasi noong time po na ‘yun, nag-a-ask na po ako, nagpe-pray na po ako ng freedom. And then, ‘yung tatay po biglang nadulas. Blessing in disguise.”
Since then, AJ shared that she, Aljur, and their children have been able to enjoy simple family activities in the open—something they used to avoid. “Masaya kami, masaya ako. Lumalabas kami ngayon, kakain kami. Hindi kami nagtatago,” she said.
In the first part of her interview aired on Wednesday, AJ also confirmed that she and Aljur have three children together: Althena, Aljur Junior, and Abraham.
