ABS-CBN actress Nadine Lustre clarifies that her viral video on TikTok contains “no tea” and “no shade” amid the buzz.
Previously, Issa Pressman’s interview created a buzz online. In this interview, she talked about getting past her mental struggles, the bashing, the issues surrounding her relationship with James Reid, and the rumours involving Reid’s former girlfriend, who was also her friend, Nadine Lustre.
In the same interview, she relayed that before going public with her relationship with Reid, she messaged Lustre. The multi-awarded actress accordingly gave their blessing to them.
Issa said, “I told her, I was like, ‘We started dating and I really wanna see where this is gonna go.’ [Nadine] was so kind and was saying, ‘Good morning. To be honest, that’s been a lifetime ago, I appreciate you telling me. I wish you guys the best of luck.’”
This statement implies that everything was clear and good between them. However, Lustre went viral after this interview surfaced, which has abuzzed people. In her viral TikTok video, a certain line said, “pwede na tayo magsama kasi, accept na tayo nila.”
Many people speculated that she was throwing shade and was just pretty low-key and subtle in doing jabs.
However, in the comments section, Nadine dismissed the speculations. In a reply, she wrote, “no tea, no shade, just pink lemonade,” and also expressed in another one, “don’t know the song. doesn’t have any hidden meaning. cmon guys.”
Paul Nebres, the owner of the account, also shared that the video is not meant as a response to anything. According to him, Nadine has always wanted to do this dub video.
Recently, Nadine has been in a relationship with businessman Christophe Bariou. Reid and Lustre broke up in 2020. Three years later, Reid and Pressman confirmed their romance to the public.
