Kryz Uy Gets Real About Navigating Adulthood, Motherhood, & Uncertainty

At 35, lifestyle influencer Kryz Uy is taking time to reflect deeply on her personal growth, motherhood, and career journey. The well-loved content creator recently shared an honest and heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing how she continues to navigate the ups and downs of adulthood with both gratitude and uncertainty.
“I’m re-learning how to live — and my kids have been my greatest teachers,” she wrote. Kryz shared that being a mother has allowed her to rediscover the beauty of slowing down and appreciating the little things in life. “To notice the little things. To leave space in my brain instead of filling it to the brim. To be okay with silence. To let myself be bored. To understand that sometimes, it’s enough to just exist. And in the middle of all the noise, I’m learning to recognize what feels real to me.”
Having spent over 16 years as a digital creator, Kryz admitted that she still doesn’t have everything planned out. “I’ve been posting for a living for 16 years, and I still don’t have a five-year plan. Sometimes I want to delete everything… then I remember I might just be tired, not done.”
Even when she feels weary, her love for creating content continues to drive her. “I still love creating — even when I’m tired of creating. I talk about quiet living… on the noisiest app on earth. And honestly, I miss when the internet was just people finding each other,” she said.
Kryz also opened up about her emotional state, describing how she often experiences multiple feelings at once. “I’m both inspired and exhausted, excited and scared, grounded and restless — sometimes all at once. But gratitude always finds its way to the front. I’m endlessly thankful for the life I get to live,” she remarked.
She mentioned that while she earned a degree in Communications Technology Management with a minor in Business Enterprise Development and Luxury Brand Management, she has “never used it.”
Closing her reflection, Kryz shared a powerful realization about balance and acceptance. “I can be craving something new while being deeply grateful for what’s here and not wanting things to change. I can have everything I once prayed for and still feel unsure of my next step. It’s not unhappiness — just awareness. And I’m learning that’s okay too.”
