Kathryn Bernardo is the next Filipino to have a wax figure, and here’s what she said about it.
It has been confirmed that Kathryn Bernardo is the next Filipino personality to have a Madame Tussauds wax figure, and the actress gushed about it.
Recently, on social media, superstar Kathryn Bernardo gushed about a new milestone in her career. She is the next Filipino personality to be immortalized in a wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
On Instagram, she shared, “The ‘Kath’ is finally out of the bag! 👀 So excited to finally share this with everyone. Thank you @madametussaudshongkong for this huge honor.”
Her wax figure will be unveiled in 2026 – a milestone that followed the success of her last film project, Hello, Love, Again, released in November 2024. This film has become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time with ₱1.6 billion worldwide as of February 2025.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, she expressed that this was something she never thought would happen. It was unexpected for her to be immortalized this way. She said, “Ang galing because ang proseso nila ang gandang ma-witness ‘yun. How they work, kung gaano sila ka-meticulous sa detalye. Hindi lahat ng artista nagkakaroon ng ganitong opportunity to be immortalized this way.”
She already had the actual fitting and measurement process with the Tussauds team, and it took four hours until they were done. Advanced technology was used to get her measurements, skin tone, hair color, and other features.
Bernardo shared, “Kukunan pala nila 360 all angles, so medyo hair color, nail color, ‘yung polish, they even asked my make up artist anong ginamit na products and shade. Nakaka-excite kasi it’s like creating your twin! Today, we have created my twin! I will meet them in 10-12 months!”
As for her appearance, she found it hard to choose one as it would forever represent her. But in the end, she picked one that is timeless, clean, neat, and simple.

- Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, which was unveiled in March 2019
- Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao that was officially unveiled in November 2021
- Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, which was unveiled at the Singapore branch in March 2022
- actress Anne Curtis that was unveiled in November 2024
- Broadway star Lea Salonga, which was unveiled on September 13, 2024, at Singapore branch
