Update on Ongoing Conflict Between Iran, United States
IRAN – Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the country blocked and ordered two (2) tankers in the Strait of Hormuz to go back.
United States Vice President JD Vance previously announced that the peace talks between U.S. and Iran which lasted for 21 hours was not successful. Iran reportedly refused the conditions set by America with regards to nuclear acquisition and the control in the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. Pres. Donald Trump previously claimed that the attack against Iran was allegedly to stop the country from destroying the world through nuclear acquisition. According to him, it is more important to him as a leader than the oil prices.
The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has resulted to the surge in the global oil prices. The American Leader previously expressed his belief that the high oil prices will allegedly be “short-term”.

Following the airstrikes of U.S. and Israel which killed many people in Iran including Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Tehran immediately imposed restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz. The said waterway is vital in the international oil supply.
Iran also warned the world to prepare for the cost of oil to reach $200 per barrel. According to the Iranian officials, they will make U.S. regret the alleged “grave miscalculation” through high oil prices.

Previously, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump agreed to a 2-week ceasefire with Iran. However, shortly after the two (2) countries failed to arrive at an agreement and Israel attacked Lebanon, the situation seemingly became tight again.
Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz. It is reportedly due to the U.S. blockage in its ports which affecting its imports as well as its economy. Based on News5, Iran recently blocked two (2) tanks in the Strait and ordered them to go back.

Based on the post, the Iranian officials said the voyage of the two (2) tankers in the Strait of Hormuz is allegedly unauthorized amid the ongoing U.S. blockade. Recently, U.S. Pres. Donald Trump issued new threats against Iran if it will not accept the deal.
